Switching is the part you don’t have to do.
Outgrown your current provider but dreading the move? You keep cooking and serving. We do the heavy lifting, leaving your old platform, rebuilding your menu, setting up Google, sorting your photos, and we put you live within hours.
Marketplaces aren’t the enemy. Dishonest pricing is.
Every “commission-free” provider sells the same line: stop paying Just Eat, Uber Eats and Deliveroo their cut. We think that line is dishonest. Those platforms bring you their own customers, and if their riders deliver, they use their own fleet. Up to ~14% if you deliver yourself, up to ~30% if they do. That is the price of the customers and the logistics they actually provide. It is a fair deal for what it is. If you walk away from those platforms, you walk away from every order that comes through them.
The “commission-free” providers don’t skip the fee. They rename it.
Take FoodHub. It markets itself as “0% commission” on software, and that part is technically true: there is no per-order software fee. But every customer payment is collected by Datman, FoodHub’s merchant-services partner, which takes 3–3.7% off every order and settles the rest to you on a weekly schedule. You don’t pay for the software. You pay for every single order the restaurant takes, just to a different middleman.
Compare that to MyFoodApp. Your customer’s payment goes through your own Stripe or Revolut Business account at standard UK processing rates (typically 0.5–1.4% depending on your provider), next-day into your bank. We never sit in the payment path. The “commission-free” promise we make is the only one that actually is.
Your own site is a different game. You can win both.
Comparing your direct site to Just Eat is wrong from the start. A customer sitting in the Uber Eats app is not going to leave it and Google you. People want one app for all their food. So stay on the marketplaces. But independent ordering sites get plenty of orders too, and you can move customers off the marketplaces and onto your own site by playing the prices the right way.
Price the marketplaces high enough to cover the cut you pay them. Price your own site at your real prices. That is a 15–30% gap in your customer’s favour. Marketplace customers notice. Many of them order direct next time. The platforms’ commission funds the acquisition; your own site keeps the relationship.
Stop selling on ugly websites.
UK customers will order from any site if it works. They will not if it does not. The biggest hidden cost in this business is making the direct experience worse than the marketplaces’. Match the effort Uber puts into theirs: a modern, fast, beautiful storefront on your own domain. We have 30 of them ready to go.
Be honest with yourself about what you’re paying for. And honest about what you actually have.
Every reason people put off switching, handled.
The fear of the move keeps restaurants stuck on platforms that quietly cost them thousands. There is nothing on this list you have to face alone.
